2 Key Tips to Speed Up Your Serious Car Accident Claim in Maryland (VIDEO)
Video of attorney John Leppler providing you with two key tips to speed up your serious car accident case in Maryland.
Video Transcript:
From my experience, what are two things that the injured victim and their attorney can do to speed up the process to ensure that the injured victim's serious injury car accident claim settles fairly?
Number one, after a lawsuit is filed, ensuring that the injured victim's attorney opposes every single motion to continue or motion to postpone a trial that is filed by the at-fault driver's insurance company. It is critically important that the injured victim's jury trial date sticks as soon as the court schedules it, and puts immense pressure on the at-fault driver's insurance company to fairly resolve the injured victim's claim.
Number two is, once the lawsuit is filed, the injured victim's attorney should immediately request the depositions of the at-fault driver and other key critical fact witnesses, i.e. eyewitnesses to the car accident itself.
This will signal to the at-fault driver's insurance company that the injured victim and their attorney are not playing games and are aggressively, strategically preparing the injured victim's case for trial and making the best possible case in front of a judge or jury.
If you have any questions regarding how an injured victim can bring a serious injury car accident case in the state of Maryland, feel free to call me. I do this every single day and would love to answer any questions you may have. Thank you.
